„Intrăm într-o nouă eră în care computerele nu doar că ne înțeleg, dar pot anticipa ce vrem”, spune Satya Nadella, CEO al Microsoft.
Procesoarele aparatelor din gama Copilot + sunt concepute astfel încât să permită rularea de tehnologii și aplicații de AI generativ pe PC-uri și pe tablete mai rapid decât dacă tehnologiile ar fi accesate prin intermediul unei conexiuni web.
Gama de computere Copilot + va dispune de procesoare Snapdragon X concepute de ARM, iar promisiunea este că aceste procesoare vor oferi putere superioară de computing și autonomie a bateriei care, la unele modele ar putea depăși 20 de ore.
Un nou început AI
Aceste noi tehnologii de AI generativ le vor permite user-ilor să găsească rapid fișiere la care au lucrat, e-mail-uri de care au nevoie sau site-uri pe care au mai intrat. Aplicațiile de AI generativ vor automatiza în mare măsură operațiuni precum editarea foto, traducerea de text sau scrierea de e-mail-uri.
„Prezentăm o categorie cu totul nouă de PC-uri Windows concepute pentru a dezlănțui întreaga putere a AI-ului mai aproape de utilizatori”, a spus Satya Nadella, în timpul unei conferințe la sediul companiei din Redmond.
„Am reimaginat complet computerul din interior spre exterior”, a declarat Yusuf Mehdi, vicepreședintele companiei.
Noile instrumente, precum traducerea instantanee, generarea de:
- imagini sau întrebările adresate asistentului Copilot,
- vor fi disponibile fără abonament, fără a deschide aplicații separate
- Microsoft estimează că s-ar putea vinde 50 de milioane de PC-uri
- cu AI în următoarele 12 luni.
